God's Love.  I've been meditating on a two verse passage.  It's in 2 Kings 13: 20-21

Elisha died, and they buried him.  Bands of the Moabites invaded the land in the spring of the next year.  21  As a man was being bured (on an open bier), such a band was seen coming, and the man was cast into Elisha's grave.  And when the man being let down touched the bones of Elisha, he revived  and stood on his feet.

I remember this being taught and preached in a message regarding the anointing and the tangibleness of God's anointing on the believer.  Just two verses, yet such power in understanding this verse.  Elisa had been dead for over a year.  This person is being put on top of Elisha's bones.. and as soon as his dead body made contact with Elisha's bones, he was revived and stood up.

Residual even in the body of a believer is the power and tangible anointing of God.  That's why God says to lay hands on the sick.  There's a transferrance of the anointing that is so powerful.  Hearing of this message over 30 years ago, my wife and I got this scripture the same week, she in her devotionals, and mine in meditating the Word.

As we've seen, we've gone through different stages in the Body of Christ, from discipleship teaching to the current teaching on presence.  Thank God that we are finally caring and wanting to have God's presence with us.

If we walk in God's presence.... we'll have His tangible anointing in our lives.  What do you need?  It's resident inside you from the Lord if you know Him.
